That points more and more to the challenge to somebody who’s trying to get into or who’s trying to get a job doing UI design, that it’s not about looking at screen shots. Because then you’re putting yourself in the graphic design box.

It’s about your ability to describe problems and your ability to show how it is that a design that you did worked. Edwin Land, inventor of the Polaroid camera, once said that his method of design was to start with a vision of what you want and then, one by one, remove the technical obstacles until you have it. I think that’s what Steve Jobs does. He starts with a vision rather than a list of features.

I believe the company has assigned the only other Asian person the cubicle right next to mine in an attempt to have us mate.
